Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb, Mississippi, and was raised in Kentwood. When she was a kid, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many contests and other similar. Britney enjoys singing, but most importantly, she was in love with dancing classes. Britney was 8 years old when she attempted to be a part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) However her age was a factor to her being denied. This directed her to an off-Broadway production, "Ruthless", for 2 years as the title character. She attempted to reprise her role for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and this time , as the mouseketeer. Her big break, however, came when she was signed as Jive Recording Artists in the latter part of the 90s. When she released her debut album"Baby "...Baby One More Time" in early 1999, Britney became a huge success having sold 13 million copies of "Baby" and 9 million (as of July 2001) of her sophomore album "Oops !...I Did It Again" and was released in the month of May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears. She has one of her brothers Bryan Spears and a little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was bound to become the next big thing from an early age. Britney loved singing and was inspired by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989-1994) at the age of was eight. But she was not old enough to be accepted. Britney and her infant sister, Britney relocated to New York, where she played in a variety of TV commercials and in an off Broadway production titled "Ruthless" with the guidance of Natalie Portman. A few years later her love for dancing and music took over. She auditioned again to appear on "Mickey Mouse" and was selected along with Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
