Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress best known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 and also for her voice work and motion capture for the character of Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. As a child she competed as an Irish dancer and a member the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching's acting career started with the role of a guest in Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to be a part of guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March to November 2007, she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. Additionally, she been a part of theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she was a regular in the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also voiced the character of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on the 7th of December the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek: Picard's second season , which begins in September 2021.
